I don’t know who I feel worse for, the ref or FAMU…

Yes, the umpire made a mistake and moved into his way, but I find it distasteful that BTN is celebrating that a player knocked him down on his way to a touchdown.

Considering that the umpire is at least 2-3 times the player’s age and is not wearing any padding or protective gear perhaps a bit of concern or at least a mention that he was not injured on the play would be more human than bragging that he was “flattened.”

Understand your concern although we’re not sure how we were “:celebrating” this. From our vantage point, the ref looked like he was OK. It was an unusual moment in a football game – that’s why we shared it. We do it quite often.

What are you doing BTN jumping on the Yahoo bandwagon, It’s bad enough we have Yahoo sports ripping us for running up the score why everyone else gets a pat on the back for dropping 70 on their game. Now we have you trying to make our players look bad (watch Hall flatten one of the referees), I will remember to file BTN under all other haters in this country. P.S. If you spend some time watching the video you will see that Hall didn’t knock the referee down, he moved him to the side and the Florida A&M player was the one who ran him over.
