We know where all seven Big Ten teams are going. Find out below in this post.
Purdue accepted an invitation to play in the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Kickoff is set for noon ET, and the game will be televised by ESPNU. The Boilermakers (6-6, 3-5 Big Ten – fourth in Leaders Division) will face a Big XII opponent that likely won’t be announced until after tonight’s BCS Selection Show.
Nebraska will return to the Capital One Bowl for the second consecutive season, the bowl game announced Sunday afternoon. The Capital One Bowl will kick off at 1 p.m. ET (1 p.m. ET) with national television coverage on ABC. Nebraska’s opponent from the Southeastern Conference will be announced later this evening.
For the third time in four seasons, Northwestern will play in a New Year’s Day bowl game after accepting a bid to the 2013 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., announced Sunday by NU vice president for athletics and recreation Jim Phillips and TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl executive director Rick Catlett. The event pits the Wildcats (9-3) against a to-be-determined opponent representing the Southeastern Conference.

And I was hoping for Texas A&M for Nebraska playing an old big 12 foe. Oh well should be a challenge like with any SEC matchup. Is Northern Illinois going to be in a BCS bowl as a non-AQ qualifier if they reach 16 in bcs rankings as they are ranked higher than Big East and B1G winners? Interesting to take out an at large bid if they get the ranking. Their coach already took another job.
local announcement puts Nebraska vs Georgia in on ABC
yikes !
Not sure this B1G championship is working out well. Third place team in Division with 4 losses goes to the Rose Bowl and everyone else goes to second tier bowls due to the beat down of Huskers and additional loss. Same thing happened last year with Sparty loss. Guess Delaney is happy as the money keeps rolling in.
