A 71-yard drive that ended when Parker Herrington kicked a 21-yard field goal helped Air Force narrow the deficit to 7-3. Despite driving to Michigan’s three-yard line, the Falcons had to settle for a field goal. Air Force kept the ball on the ground during the drive, throwing only two passes.
The Wolverines will start the second quarter with possession at the Falcons’ 25-yard line.
