PSU downs OSU; No. 1 NU stays perfect

No. 13 Penn State knocked off its third top 10 opponent of the season Sunday afternoon, downing No. 10 Ohio State, 15-12, in front of a national television audience at a breezy Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. With the key ALC win, Penn State (10-4, 2-2) carded its seventh consecutive victory over the Buckeyes and finish the regular season with a stellar 7-1 road record. The Penn State-Ohio State game, which was broadcast live on the Big Ten Network, will be re-aired on the BTN on Monday, April 16 at 2:30 a.m. and again on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 a.m.

The victory secured Penn State’s third straight 10 win season for the first time since the 1997-99 seasons and puts head coach Missy Doherty one win away from the 100-win plateau.
