The seventh-ranked Michigan field hockey team broke a 1-1 deadlock with three second-half goals to lift the Wolverines to a 4-1 win over No. 11 Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals Friday morning (Nov. 4) at the Penn State Field Hockey Complex. Michigan now advances to the championship game Sunday (Nov. 6) at 2 p.m. Read more at MGoBlue.com.

The Penn State field hockey team (15-5, 4-2) squeaked out a 1-0 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday afternoon, to earn a berth into the Big Ten Championship game on Sunday at 2 p.m. Penn State’s lone goal in the semifinals came on a penalty stroke by sophomore Brittany Grzywacz.
