There's a new No. 1 team in the nation, and it's Michigan State.

The Spartans, following Villanova's loss to Butler, moved up one spot in the latest AP poll, released Monday.

No. 13 Purdue, also up one spot, is the only other Big Ten team ranked in the poll.
