COLUMBUS, Ohio — With its 3-0 win over BYU on Saturday, Ohio State claimed the NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship for the second straight season. This is the Buckeyes' third overall NCAA title and the third in seven seasons.

Ohio State swept third-seeded BYU in three sets, 25-19, 25-20 and 25-22, as Nicolas Szerszen led the Buckeyes with 16 kills. Maxime Hervoir added 10 kills and Miles Johnson contributed nine.

Big Ten schools have now claimed three team national titles during the 2016-17 academic year, including championships for Ohio State synchronized swimming and Penn State wrestling.
