A CBS Sports report revealed attendance figures for the 2016 college football season Friday. On average, Michigan and Ohio State drew the No. 1 and No. 2 largest crowds in all of college football, respectively.
Michigan topped the overall list with the largest average attendance in college football at 110,468. Ohio State came in second, with Penn State (7) and Nebraska (10) rounding out the Top 10.
Illinois and Iowa were in the Top 5 among Power Five schools that saw the biggest attendance increases from the previous season, as both programs saw 10 percent increases in attendance from the 2015 season to 2016.
Average 2016 Big Ten attendance figures are below.
