New Purdue coach Jeff Brohm knows offense.

He played quarterback at Louisville and the NFL, after all. Furthermore, his Western Kentucky teams have averaged 44.6 points, 356.6 passing yards and 526.2 yards of total offense per game over the last three seasons.

He is, according to a Purdue release, "one of the most innovative offensive masterminds in college football."

Brohm has a personality to match his coaching pedigree, too.

With news of his reported hire Monday morning, a classic clip from his XFL days made its way around social media. Long story short, Brohm played six days after suffering a scary injury, and the pregame interview regarding his unexpected return is hilarious.
