Next up on our annual summer football tour, we're headed to East Lansing, Michigan, to watch the reigning Big Ten champs.

Before the Spartans hit the practice field Tuesday, here are five nuggets for Michigan State entering the 2016 season.

1. Mark Dantonio, the owner of three of the last six Big Ten titles, is the first Big Ten coach to win at least 11 games five times in six seasons.

2. More Dantonio: Five of Michigan State's winningest seasons in program annals have come since 2010, highlighted by its 13-win 2013 campaign.

3. The Spartans have finished in the top 6 of the AP Poll in each of the last three seasons.

4. Linebacker Riley Bullough is the fifth member of his family to play for the Spartans.

5. With 16 career touchdown grabs, senior Josiah Price already owns the program record for a tight end.
