Both schools are rivals of Michigan, but they will be putting their rivalry on hold come this weekend.
The Spartans and Buckeyes will be wearing "#ChadTough" decals on their helmets Saturday, in support of former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr?s five-year-old grandson, Chad Carr.
Chad was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Giloma (DIPG) brain cancer last September. It was announced last week that Chad had entered hospice care.
The decals players will wear on their helmets feature an image of a boy flexing his muscles and ?ChadToughFDN? for the ChadTough.org foundation, as well as the ?#ChadTough? hashtag.
The Ohio State decal is scarlet and grey, while Michigan State?s decal is green and white.
Check out the decals at the top of this post.
This is a beautiful story that all college football fans, regardless of who they root for, can get behind.
#ChadTough
