The second installment of the College Football Playoff rankings wcome out Tuesday night. Until then, it's time for the irrelevant weekly AP and Amway Coaches polls.

Six Big Ten teams are ranked in both polls, however the AP dropped defending national champ Ohio State to No. 2 for the first time this season. The Buckeyes, No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings, remain No. 1 in the Coaches Poll.
Northwestern and Wisconsin return to the polls this week, coming in at No. 24 (AP)/No. 24 (Coaches) and No. 23/No. 22, respectively. Iowa moves up to No. 8 in both polls, while Michigan (No. 15/No. 15) and Michigan State (No. 14/No. 14) also are consistent in each poll.
