Here's the damage: Michigan is 1-6 vs. its "Little Brother" in the last seven meetings, with five of the losses by 14 points or more. Here's a detailed graphic.
Harbaugh was asked about the struggles, more specifically the physicality of the Spartans, in his weekly press conference Monday, and he used a Disney classic to describe his team's mindset.
"You think about 'The Lion King,'" Harbaugh said. "Simba gets hit over the head, and he tells him, yeah, the past can hurt. "You can either run from it or embrace it and learn from it, I think is exactly what he said. So, those seem like very wise words. We'll go about that."
But, Harbaugh wasn't done referencing the iconic Disney movie. To answer a later question about the Spartans, Harbaugh said this:
"You can run from it or learn from it," he said. "Who said that? Rafiki? Rafiki! Wise words!"
