The Terrapins gave the defending national champs and top-ranked Buckeyes quite the game for two-plus quarters before falling 49-28.

Edsall was asked about his future during his post press conference, and one reporter asked the coach if it was unique for him to be shaking all of his players' hands before the game.

Edsall gave this passionate response:

"Have you been to any of the games since I've been the head coach here at the University of Maryland? If you would notice, I do that every single game. Every single game out of the respect that I have for these kids and what they go through. Every single game."

And with that, Edsall ended his postgame press conference. As he got up and walked away, several people clapped.
