There were plenty of outstanding images from Ohio State's 42-20 win over Oregon in the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night.

However, there was one photo, in particular, that stood out among the rest, for a number of reasons.

@USATsportsImage caught this incredible image of Ohio State fan Jacob Jarvis on the field at AT&T Stadium as confetti dropped from the rafters following the Buckeyes' eighth national championship, and first since 2002.

Jarvis, 15, has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed during childhood and primarily affects boys across all races and cultures.
