It's easy to like Twitter, and we were reminded of that fact late in Iowa's victory over Nebraska on Monday night.
In the closing minutes of the Hawkeyes' 70-59 win, BTN cameras caught Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery just a little irritated, to the point that he spiked an empty water bottle at the scorer's table.
The bottle was thrown in the direction of Iowa SID Matt Weitzel, who didn't have much of a reaction.
"Poor Matt, the SID, right there behind getting the brunt of Fran's frustrations," BTN commentator Jim Jackson said. "He didn't even flinch."
Unfazed, and knowing people saw it, mostly due to the fact friends sent tweets his way, Weitzel gave us the kind of up-to-the-second coverage we've come to expect and love from Twitter.
Check out this tweet.
