Five Big Ten men's basketball teams cracked the first AP Top 25 poll released today, with No. 3 Wisconsin leading the way. This marks the Badgers' highest preseason ranking ever.

Wisconin's highest previous preseason ranking in the AP poll was No. 9 before the 2006-07 season.

Bo Ryan's team will enter the 2014-15 college basketball season ranked behind only No. 1 Kentucky and No. 2 Arizona.

Michigan State drew the No. 18 slot in the poll, while Ohio State landed at No. 20, Nebraska at No. 21 and Michigan at No. 24.
