In the first all-Big Ten NCAA volleyball title match, No. 2 Penn State took down rival and No. 12 Wisconsin, 3-1, Saturday night in Seattle. The national championship marks Penn State's fifth in the last seven seasons and sixth all-time, which ties Stanford for the most titles in NCAA women's volleyball history.
Ariel Scott led the Nittany Lions with 21 kills, while Megan Courtney and Katie Slay added five blocks apiece. Courtney and Dominique Gonzalez recorded 20 kills each and Micha Hancock totaled 48 assists.
