Xay Williams led UTEP in the quarter. He ran for 22 yards and one touchdown, and the Miners have closed the gap to 23-16. Wisconsin's James White ran for 25 yards in the quarter. The Badgers have given up the last 10 points.

UTEP made the score 23-16 after Williams pounded in an eight-yard touchdown run to finish off a 75-yard drive.
Wisconsin is in a prime position for points on the Miners' 17-yard line to open the fourth quarter.
