BTN will provide live television coverage of two men’s ice hockey games this weekend, beginning at 8 PM ET Friday when Wisconsin opens a two-game homestand against Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). On Saturday, Notre Dame will visit Mariucci Arena for the first time when it faces Minnesota for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game. The puck drops at 8 PM ET. Gopher right wing Zach Bulish checked in to preview the game.

During Wednesday’s home loss against Iowa, Minnesota junior Julian Welch took the ball down the floor and drew a foul on his shot attempt. KK Houser scored 17 points to help No. 18 Purdue beat Wisconsin 63-52 on Thursday night. Wisconsin’s Taylor Wurtz, who entered the game averaging 16.1 points per game, was held scoreless on 0-for-10 shooting. Penn State smothered Purdue’s shooters as the Nittany Lions beat the Boilermakers 65-45 Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center for Penn State’s first Big Ten win of the season. At Indiana, Christian Watford scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lift No. 12 Indiana to a 73-71 win over No. 13 Michigan at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
