Iowa took home the Big Ten wrestling regular season dual-meet title on Sunday, as the second-ranked Hawkeyes earned a 31-7 victory over No. 13 Nebraska.
Dylan Talley had 16 points and Nebraska pulled away from Penn State early in the second half to take a 67-53 win Saturday night. Nebraska (12-12, 3-8 Big Ten) opened the second half with an 12-2 spurt that put the Cornhuskers up 41-26 on David Rivers‘ free throws with 16:50 left.
One of Purdue’s favorite sons will forever be represented at Mackey Arena. At halftime of Purdue’s game Saturday night, the Boilermakers unveiled Robbie Hummel’s No. 4 jersey in the rafters. Hummel was a well-chronicled player during his decorated career in West Lafayette, both for his standout play and his unfortunate injury history.

Branden Dawson scored 20 points and Keith Appling added 17, leading No. 12 Michigan State past Purdue 78-65 on Saturday night. The Spartans (20-4, 9-2 Big Ten) have won three straight, nine of their last 10, four of their last five on the road in conference play and will retain at least a share of the league lead – regardless of what happens Sunday when No. 1 Indiana visits No. 10 Ohio State.
Devyn Marble broke a lengthy slump with 21 points and Iowa beat Northwestern 71-57 on Saturday to snap a two-game losing streak. Josh Oglesby added 10 for the Hawkeyes (15-9, 4-7 Big Ten), who won for just the second time in six games.
