BTN’s new series “BTN LiveBIG” continues Tuesday following the Nebraska at Wisconsin men’s basketball game, with stories about a student-run program that for more than 20 years has provided free health care to patients in need and a local neighborhood book exchange program that has gone global. The episode will air at midnight ET on Tuesday.

Jared Berggren and Ben Brust each scored 12 points, and No. 19 Wisconsin shut down Northwestern 69-41 on Wednesday night for its fifth win in six games. The balanced Badgers (19-8, 10-4 Big Ten) had five players with at least eight points and held the Wildcats to 29-percent shooting during a very businesslike performance.

Deshaun Thomas overcame a slow start to score 19 points and No. 18 Ohio State used a 16-0 second-half run to beat Minnesota 71-45 on Wednesday night. Shannon Scott added 11 points and LaQuinton Ross 10 for the Buckeyes, who have won the last six meetings with the Golden Gophers overall and the last six in Columbus.
Saturday afternoon’s Iowa-Nebraska game, originally scheduled for Thursday but postponed due to an impending winter storm, will air at 2 p.m. ET on BTN2Go, the Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday.
During a timeout in the first half of Ohio State’s win over Minnesota on Wednesday, Ohio State legend and Big Ten Icon (No. 8) Jerry Lucas was recognized on the court. Lucas, a three-time All-American, three-time Big Ten Most Valuable Player, two-time National Player of the Year and two-time Final Four MVP, received his NCAA Tournament Top 75 Player trophy.
