The sixth annual “BTN Awards Show” airs at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday on BTN/BTN2Go. Mike Hall will host the special 30-minute show. But before all of the winners are announced, Brent Yarina offered his picks for several of the categories. See his selections in this post.
BTN will recognize the best of Big Ten sports in 2012-2013 with the sixth annual BTN Awards Show at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Mike Hall will host the half-hour show. The announcement of two prestigious Big Ten Conference awards for the best female student-athlete and the best male student-athlete will highlight the evening’s festivities. The show also will feature interviews with selected award winners, both coaches and players.
I continue my look at each week of the Big Ten 2013 schedule, and I move on and examine Week 10 today. My game of the week? It has to be Michigan at Michigan State. Michigan State needs no motivation vs. Michigan. Before losing, 12-10, last year in Ann Arbor, Michigan State had won four in a row in this oh-so-heated rivalry. So, the Spartans know they can beat the Wolverines. Reasserting its power in this series is critical for Michigan State in its quest for a successful season. But Michigan wants to begin a run of dominance of its own.

Wisconsin has its fingerprint all over the Ameche-Dayne Big Ten Running Back of the Year award.
