Last week, “Big Ten Football Report” compiled a Denard Robinson highlight package; this week, it was Montee Ball’s turn. And just like Robinson’s video, Ball’s 2012 piece does not disappoint. It should come as no surprise, though, as the 2012 Doak Walker Award winner ripped off his share of individual highlights this season on his way to becoming the NCAA career touchdown leader. Watch the video now.
Sam Ostarello had 22 points and 19 rebounds Monday night and No. 12 Purdue defeated Ohio State 82-75 in triple overtime. Courtney Moses led the Boilermakers (14-2, 3-0) with 24 points. Her layup late in the second extra period tied it at 68 after Ohio State had a 68-62 lead. All three of the Boilermakers’ Big Ten wins have come in overtime. Read the full AP recap, see the box score and watch our interviews in this post.

How can you top last week in the Big Ten, which saw Minnesota play at Indiana and Michigan travel to Ohio State? You can’t. Still, this week has some nice matchups. The top tilt is Michigan’s trip to Minnesota. But there also is Wisconsin at Indiana on Tuesday and Ohio State at Michigan State on Saturday, making this another key week in the Big Ten schedule.

What a big weekend of hoops in the Big Ten, with Titanic games between Minnesota and Indiana and Michigan and Ohio State. Great place to start daily links. Esteemed Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz came away impressed with Indiana freshman point guard Yogi Ferrell following the Hoosiers’ hang-on-for-dear-life win over Minnesota on Saturday.
