It was all Ohio State on Saturday night at Cal. Kenny Guiton went for career highs in passing yards (276), passing touchdowns (4) and rushing yards (92), Jordan Hall set personal records in rushing yards (168), touchdowns (3) and receptions (5), and Devin Smith went for a career-high 149 receiving yards. Kenny Guiton has made a name for himself as a reliable backup. Saturday night at Cal, we’ll see how the veteran sub does as the starter. Guiton will get his first career start in place of star Braxton Miller, who injured his knee last week vs. San Diego State.
Jerry Kill returned home Saturday afternoon following a trip to the hospital for an epileptic seizure suffered during Minnesota’s 29-12 victory over Western Illinois. Kill has a long history of game-day seizures, including one in the final seconds of Minnesota’s 2011 home loss to New Mexico State.
