Nebraska - Indoor Track and Field

The Nebraska women and Indiana men claimed 2012 Big Ten indoor track and field titles Saturday at the Devaney Center Indoor Track. For the Huskers, competing in their first Big Ten championship event, it was their second straight conference title, as they won the Big 12 crown last season. Read the full release at Huskers.com. On Thursday night Ohio State’s Samantha Prahalis had a game for the ages as the Buckeyes senior guard scored a school-record 42 points in her last home game and Ohio State beat Minnesota 81-56. She finished with six rebounds, four assists and three steals before leaving to a standing ovation with 2:27 left after breaking Katie Smith’s 1994 record by hitting two free throws.
