Every week this season, BTN.com’s Brent Yarina (@BTNBrentYarina) and Tom Dienhart (@BTNTomDienhart) have offered their predictions for each Big Ten football game and provided polls for fans to pick their winners. We’re down to the final week of play, and BTN.com fans are in the lead.
On Wednesday night’s “The Journey: Big Ten Football,” BTN sat down with Wisconsin running back Montee Ball to talk to him about the bittersweet night that left him thinking about a move to linebacker. It was the 2010 Ohio State game, the one in which the Badgers took down the nation’s No. 1 team, but Ball didn’t see the field in the upset. Watch the clip, which also feature Le’Veon Bell and Denard Robinson, now. Also, see several Robinson bonus clips in this post.
You’ll want to see how “The Journey 2012″ covers Montee Ball’s historical TD last Saturday on tonight’s episode of the show at 7:30 p.m. ET. Ahead of the show we’ve posted two highlight reels, one from Ohio State vs. Wiscosnin and the other from Iowa vs. Michigan. As part of our ongoing coverage of the various Senior Day celebrations our crew tracked Ball and Michigan’s Denard Robinson.
As BTN’s Gerry DiNardo mentioned during Tuesday’s coverage of Rutgers joining the Big Ten, there are three variables to consider when creating the conference’s new divisions: 1. Competitive balance; 2. geography; and 3. rivalries.

It was a busy day on the Big Ten men’s hardwood Tuesday, as six teams were in action. No. 19 Michigan State got a scare from Boise State but held on for a 74-70 win at the Breslin Center. Track all of tonight’s action, get live updates and watch in-game highlights in this post.
This is the last week of the regular season. Rivalry trophies are on the line. (Hello, Old Oaken Bucket, Land of Lincoln Trophy, Heroes Trophy!) Bowl eligibility is up for grabs. A division title still must be decided. Here are the key questions for each team this week.
