Another week, another slate of big games in the Big Ten, which has five Top 25 teams this week: No. 2 Michigan; No. 7 Indiana; No. 12 Minnesota; No. 13 Michigan State; No. 14 Ohio State. Illinois dropped out, while Wisconsin looked poised to join the ranks of the ranked after winning at Indiana on Tuesday but then lost at Iowa on Saturday.

This is a big week in Wisconsin hoops, with a visit from Michigan State tonight following by a visit from Minnesota on Saturday. That’s why I’m gonna begin daily links with the Badgers.
The fourth-ranked Minnesota wrestling team rallied from behind to beat the eighth-ranked Illini, 18-14 on Monday night. The Gophers were sparked by Scott Schiller’s upset of Mario Gonzalez at 197-pounds.
Maggie Lucas shot 5 of 16 from the field and Alex Bentley went 8 of 21. To make matters worse, Nikki Greene played only 18 minutes because of foul trouble. Faced with some adversity for the first time in a while, No. 8 Penn State kept the pressure on until No. 23 Michigan finally ran out of responses.
In a special web-only “Big Ten Football Report” clip, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith each offer up a couple of players Big Ten fans should keep their eye on in 2013. While all four talents are coming off breakout seasons, our guys think each is poised to be even better next fall.
