Sitting at No. 15 in the BCS standings, Wisconsin’s hopes for an at-large BCS bowl bid are looking better and better. The Badgers need to finish No. 14 or higher to be eligible for selection. Gotta think that’s gonna happen over the next few weeks. First, Wisconsin needs to beat visiting Penn State in the finale. Then, sit back, watch and wait.

Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier took home defensive honors for the second time in as many weeks and the fifth time in his career, matching the Big Ten record. The Big Ten office released its Big Ten Men’s Basketball Players of the Week on Monday. To no surprise, Wisconsin junior Frank Kaminsky took home Player of the Week. Kaminsky scored a Wisconsin single-game record 43 points vs. North Dakota and averaged 26 points and 4.7 rebounds in three games.
