No. 2 Michigan came up with more than its share of highlights (watch all of them) during Sunday’s victory over Iowa. None, however, were bigger than Tim Hardaway Jr.‘s terrific one-handed slam. In transition, Hardaway Jr. outraced several Hawkeyes down the floor, took the pass from Trey Burke, and threw it down over Iowa’s Eric May. Watch the dunk here, and see some Twitter reaction in this post.
Trey Burke had 19 points and a career-high 12 assists, part of another stellar offensive performance from No. 2 Michigan in a 95-67 win over Iowa on Sunday. Glenn Robinson III added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolverines, who had only 17 points with 7:00 remaining in the first half before overwhelming the Hawkeyes (11-4, 0-2 Big Ten) with a flurry of dunks, 3-pointers and other highlights.

Earlier Saturday, BTN aired a clip of Michigan State’s Branden Dawson possibly throwing a punch at Purdue’s Travis Carroll during Saturday afternoon’s game. Since then, Michigan State has reviewed the tape from different angles, and said it doesn’t appear Dawson threw a punch. Watch our video of the play in question now.

While not quite to the level of J.R. Smith a few days ago, Illinois’ Joseph Bertrand went for a silly reverse alley-oop of his own in Saturday’s rout of Ohio State. Brandon Paul set up the highlight-reel play with a pass that he delivered from just inside the halfcourt line. Watch the reverse alley-oop here and see a great picture of it in this post.
