Ex-Illini Jereme Richmond on NBA, Weber

Former Illinois men’s basketball player Jereme Richmond, who left school last season for the NBA but went undrafted, sat down with BTN producers to talk about life and his future in basketball. Richmond shot 53 percent from the field and averaged 7.6 points, five rebounds and 1.8 assists per game as a freshman in 2010-11. Stanford downs Minnesota in NIT finals

(AP) Stanford’s young guards Chasson Randle and Aaron Bright each scored 15 points, and the Cardinal routed Minnesota 75-51 to win the NIT title Thursday night. Stanford forced two turnovers to open the second half to take a 10-point lead and stayed up by double figures the rest of the way. The Golden Gophers turned it over 22 times on the night.
