Former Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter testified before the National Labor Relations Board in Chicago on Tuesday, as the players try to show they are employees of the school with the support of the College Athletes Players Association (CAPA). Today, Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald testified.
On Thursday night Michigan State found their shooting touch against Purdue as the Spartans jumped out to 49-38 first-half lead by hitting 13 of their 19 three-point attempts. But they didn’t stop there. The Spartans finished with 17 to set a new Michigan State record for three-pointers in one game.

Former Ohio State standout Evan Turner was acquired by the Indiana Pacers on Thursday in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, and Turner’s arrival in Indianapolis will surely bring back some memories. The fourth-year small forward sank an unforgettable shot against Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals in 2010. The Pacers play in that same arena – Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.
