Nebraska hires Miami AD

Nebraska has hired Shawn Eichorst as the school’s new athletics director to replace the retiring Tom Osborne, who will step aside on Jan. 1, 2013. Eichorst has been the athletics director the University of Miami since April 2011. Read the full release at Huskers.com and watch the video of Thursday’s announcement in this post. Big Ten Classics: Watch Spartans vs. Hoosiers 2006

Michigan State visits Indiana this Saturday for a noon ET kickoff on BTN/BTN2Go, and that reminded us of a 2006 classic game between these two programs. On Oct. 28 of that season Indiana’s James Hardy caught four of Kellen Lewis’ five touchdown passes as Indiana won 41-26 in front of their home fans. Debate it: Best RB not named Le'Veon Bell is ...
