1st quarter recap: Nebraska 7, Michigan State 7

Michigan State’s Le’Veon Bell ran for 58 yards and one touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 7-7 at the end of the first. The Spartans struck first when Bell pounded in an 11-yard touchdown run, the final play of a 10-play, 68-yard drive.

1st quarter recap: Penn State 10, Purdue 3

Penn State’s secondary stifled the passing game, allowing just 31 yards through the air to Purdue in the first quarter and the Nittany Lions lead 10-3 at the end of the first quarter. The Boilermakers took the game’s first lead after Sam McCartney made a 20-yard field goal on the last play of a seven-play, 49-yard drive.

3rd quarter recap: Michigan 21, Minnesota 7

In the third quarter, Michigan’s Jeremy Gallon stood out. He caught two passes for 57 yards and one touchdown, and the Wolverines now lead 21-7. The last 21 points have been scored by Michigan. Gallon’s 10 -yard touchdown grab polished off a seven-play, 86-yard drive to give Michigan the lead, 21-7. The Wolverines used a 47-yard pass from quarterback Devin Gardner to fuel the drive.
