OK, are you as confused as I am? This week of upsets has turned the conference on its side and trashed most everything I thought I knew about the Big Ten. Give me two of whatever Miles is drinking … pronto.
The term “posterize” has become popular among some of the top dunkers in the Big Ten this season. But of all the great “posterizing” dunks we have seen this year, A.J. Hammons’ dunk over Nik Stauskas on Thursday night may top the list.
Thursday night featured two more entertaining Big Ten hoops games. Nebraska kicked off the action with a 60-55 win over Indiana. Michigan followed with a commanding 75-66 home victory over Purdue to remain perfect in Big Ten play.

There were four Big Ten women’s games tonight, highlighted by Penn State’s 75-72 victory over Purdue. In other Big Ten women’s action, Northwestern edged out a win over Indiana, Michigan State got the best of Wisconsin, and Ohio State cruised to a victory over Illinois.
