Latimer's 3 TD catches help Indiana nip Iowa, 24-21

Cameron Coffman threw for 315 yards on 21 of 33 passing and three touchdowns to lead Indiana on Saturday to a 24-21 win over Big Ten foe Iowa. Cody Latimer, who had 113 yards on seven receptions for Indiana (4-5, 2-3 Big Ten), caught all three of Coffman’s touchdown passes. James Vandenberg was 21 of 34 for 249 yards passing and a touchdown for Iowa (4-5, 2-3).

Nebraska stuns Michigan State in final seconds

Taylor Martinez threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jamal Turner with 6 seconds left, giving No. 21 Nebraska a 28-24 win over Michigan State on Saturday night that kept the Cornhuskers tied with Michigan atop the Big Ten Legends Division.

McGloin, Penn State dominate Purdue, 34-7

Matt McGloin passed for 321 yards and two touchdowns to help Penn State defeat Purdue 34-9 on Saturday. Brandon Moseby-Felder had six catches for 129 yards, Zach Zwinak ran for 134 yards and Michael Zordich ran for two touchdowns for the Nittany Lions (6-3, 4-1 Big Ten), who bounced back from a loss to Ohio State.

Perfect Ohio State blows away Illinois, 52-22

Carlos Hyde rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns and Braxton Miller passed for two scores and ran for another to lead No. 6 Ohio State past Illinois 52-22 on Saturday. The Buckeyes (10-0, 6-0 Big Ten) maintained the upper hand in the Leaders Division heading into a bye week. They have games remaining at Wisconsin on Nov. 17 and against rival Michigan at home a week later.

3rd quarter recap: Indiana 17, Iowa 14

At one point Indiana trailed by 14 points, but the Hoosiers have come back to take a 17-14 lead at the end of the third quarter. With 10:06 to go in the second quarter Indiana looked to be in trouble, but it has stormed back to take the lead. Iowa has given up 17 straight points.

Indiana legend Randle El inducted into Indiana HOF

Indiana football legend and current BTN analyst Antwaan Randle El was inducted into the Indiana Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday night. On Saturday, Randle El was introduced to the Memorial Stadium crowd at halftime of Indiana’s win over Iowa. The former quarterback received a thunderous ovation, and for good reason. Randle El, a 2001 first-team All-America, was the first in NCAA history to score 40 rush touchdowns and 40 pass touchdowns and the first to amass 6,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards.
