Two of the Big Ten’s top teams were in action Friday night, and there were plenty of highlights for both Indiana and Michigan State. Yogi Ferrell poured in a game-high 26 points and Noah Vonleh added another double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Hoosiers cruised to a 105-59 victory over Samford. Two Big Ten men’s soccer teams advanced to Sunday’s championship match with semifinal wins at host site Ohio State on Friday. In the first semifinal, Indiana beat Penn State 1-0 in an overtime shootout. The Hoosiers shot a perfect 5-of-5 in the shootout. In the second semifinal, Michigan State junior Fatai Alashe scored the game’s lone goal as the Spartans defeated Northwestern, 1-0.

Happy Football Friday! The analysis of the Michigan State at Nebraska game continues. Why not? It’s gonna be a great battle that essentially will determine the Legends Division race. But the latest injury news from Lincoln isn’t great, as the offensive line is banged up. Not good news for a Huskers team facing a terrific Spartans front.
