Wisconsin holds off Penn State, 60-51

Wisconsin (10-4) trailed 14-10 with 9:03 to go in the first half, but went on a 22-4 run over the next 11:24 to take a 14-point lead. The Badgers never trailed again and beat Penn State, 60-51.

Michigan rolls at Northwestern, 94-66

Trey Burke scored 23 points and grabbed four rebounds and Jordan Morgan added 12 points and 13 boards as they teamed up to lead No. 2 Michigan to a 94-66 victory  over Northwestern on Thursday at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston.

D.J. Byrd grabs late rebound, on knees, calls timeout

There are plays that fans never forget, and D.J. Byrd came up with one in Wednesday’s 68-61 win over Illinois that the Purdue faithful should have no trouble remembering. With 21.5 seconds left, Purdue leading 63-61 and Jacob Lawson at the free-throw line, Byrd corralled a missed freebie, on his knees, and managed to call a timeout before going out of bounds.
