Big Ten officials were targets of flying bodies Saturday. First, an official leaped over a falling Tim Frazier in the Penn State-Illinois game, and then another had his legs taken out under him when Will Sheehey tried to make a hustle play on a ball going out of bounds in the Michigan State-Indiana game. Luckily, for John Higgins, he nailed the landing and avoided any injury.

Illinois honored the 25th anniversary of the Flyin’ Illini at halftime of Saturday’s win vs. Penn State, and BTN analyst Stephen Bardo, one of the stars of the celebrated Final Four team, was there for the festivities. After being honored at midcourt of State Farm Center, Bardo interviewed former teammate Kendall Gill and legendary coach Lou Henson. Watch the interviews in this post.
Illinois, No. 5 Michigan State and No. 3 Ohio State all improved to 2-0 in Big Ten play with convincing victories Saturday. The Illini took down Penn State, 75-55, the Spartans won at Indiana, 73-56, and the Buckeyes rolled past Nebraska, 84-53.

Whether we’ve seen the last of Braxton Miller in an Ohio State uniform or not, he had a tremendous career in Columbus. Following Friday night’s 40-35 loss to Clemson in the Orange Bowl, Miller answered questions about his future. Will he come back to Ohio State? Or will he enter the 2014 NFL Draft? Miller said he will talk to his coaches and make a decision soon. As for a timeline, he told our Rick Pizzo, “Nah, I don’t have any timeline.” Watch our interview here.
