The second day of the 2013 Big Ten Men’s Gymnastics Championships saw individual event winners crowned and All-Conference teams and award winners announced on Saturday night. Four schools won event titles, including three from Big Ten Champion Michigan and one each from Illinois, Iowa and Penn State. Read full BigTen.org release and see all the teams in this post.

Deshaun Thomas will forgo his senior season of eligibility at Ohio State to enter the NBA Draft. He finishes his career No. 9 in all-time scoring at Ohio State with 1,630 points, and he led the Big Ten in scoring this seasonr with 19.8 points per game. His total of 733 points last season is third most in Ohio State history.

Michigan’s Trey Burke won the 2013 John R. Wooden Award on Friday finishing just ahead of Indiana’s Victor Oladipo. The Wolverines’ sophomore guard averaged 18.8 points and 6.8 assists a game and has led Michigan to the Final Four. Four of the top ten finishers for this award are from the Big Ten.
