Iowa downs Maryland, advances to NIT final

Video: Bacari gives another literal pep talk

Michigan assistant Bacari Alexander is known for his cheesy pregame pep talks, and he added another example prior to the South Region final Sunday. This time, Alexander used his literal tactics to hammer home the importance of a sports cliche. Alexander, stressing that the team had to play with a chip on its shoulder vs. Florida, placed a potato chip on the left shoulder of the team’s starters.

Video: Northwestern introduces Collins as new coach

Northwestern introduced longtime Duke assistant Chris Collins as its 24th men’s basketball coach Tuesday. Collins, who grew up in Northbrook, Ill., and starred at Glenbrook North High School, inherits a program that went 13-19, including 4-14 in the Big Ten, in Bill Carmody’s final season.  Watch our one-on-one interview with Collins now and find other video in this post.
