When thinking about the top dunkers in the Big Ten this season, Indiana’s Will Sheehey isn’t a name that many have put on top of that list. After the dunk Sheehey had over Penn State’s Jordan Dickerson in the first half of Wednesday’s game vs. Penn State, it may be time to reconsider.
There were two outstanding Big Ten hoops games tonight on BTN. Penn State kicked off the action with a memorable come-from-behind victory over Indiana. Nebraska followed with an impressive home win over Illinois.

Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis has taken on the role of “The Riddler” over the past month, tweeting out clues about an upcoming MSU sporting event. The riddle was solved today as Hollis announced the creation of a four-team “barnstorming tour” with MSU, Florida, North Carolina and Texas playing a round-robin set of three games, one each in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

This year’s college basketball season is entering the home stretch, which means the NBA mock drafts are going to begin to appear on a regular basis in the upcoming months. ESPN Insider Jeff Goodman released his initial 2014 NBA Mock Draft 1.0 this morning, and it’s filled with plenty of Big Ten stars.
In many ways, Aaron White is the epitome of Iowa basketball, a try-hard guy who continues to emerge as one of the Big Ten’s most versatile and indispensable players largely because of hard work. Bottom line: White is a player any coach would love to have. His ability to impact the game on myriad levels is unique.
