Iowa gets back on track, takes down Purdue

Aaron White had 18 points and nine rebounds and Iowa beat Purdue 58-48 on Wednesday night for its fourth win in five games. Devyn Marble also had 18 for the Hawkeyes (18-10, 7-8 Big Ten), who put an ugly loss at Nebraska behind them ahead of this weekend’s trip to top-ranked Indiana.

B1G 1: PSU tops No. 4 Michigan for first Big Ten win

Jermaine Marshall scored 25 points and Penn State upset No. 4 Michigan 84-78 on Wednesday night for its first Big Ten win of the season. The Nittany Lions (9-18, 1-14) had lost 18 straight regular-season conference games dating to last season, but they roared back from a 15-point deficit with 10:39 left behind the energetic play of Marshall.

It didn’t take long for Michigan’s Glenn Robinson III to make an impact in Wednesday’s loss at Penn State. Just more than one minute in, the freshman drove and exploded for a powerful one-handed flush over Ross Travis. As if the dunk wasn’t good enough on its own, Robinson III punctuated it with a little flare at the end – even if it was accidental.
