Wisconsin is headed to its first Final Four since 2000. And knowing this team, the national media should be thrilled. The Badgers are a team filled with engaging personalities and excellent soundbites. For example, this guy. Only a freshman, Nigel Hayes is someone fans and media already love and appreciate. But, again, this is a team full of characters, and here’s a look at some of the fun they’ve had on their way to the Final Four.

Up until Saturday, plenty of college basketball fans appreciated Bo Ryan’s coaching ability in a patronizing, half-insulting kind of way. Yes, he’s a fantastic Big Ten coach, that much is beyond dispute.
There are few classier acts than Michigan big man Jordan Morgan, who saw his career end with the heart-breaking loss to Kentucky in the Elite Eight in Indianapolis on Sunday. Morgan was a glue-guy whose production in the pivot was a boon for a team that had to play almost the entire season without Mitch McGary. Morgan took to Twitter (@JustJMo) after the loss yesterday to give thanks.
Still trying to catch your breath after that wild weekend of hoops games? The Big Ten had a great chance to get three teams into the Final Four. Alas, only one made it: Wisconsin, perhaps the least likely of all.
