(AP) With an early start time, a late-arriving crowd and a huge rivalry game to look ahead to, No. 23 Iowa could have easily overlooked heavy underdog Fairleigh Dickinson. The Hawkeyes still had more than enough energy to put aside the Knights.
Who’s the best team in the Big Ten? The latest polls say it’s Ohio State. Barely, though. The top of the Big Ten is loaded, to the point where the No. 1 team could be up for debate on a weekly basis. This week, I have undefeated and tested Wisconsin atop my latest Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal.
The regular season has ended, but the cards and letters keep coming in. The bowl matchups have been set. Yes, the Big Ten has two teams in BCS bowls. But many eyes will focus on the Big Ten vs. SEC matchups, which always receive a lot of scrutiny.

What makes Michigan State’s stingy defense, well, so stingy?
