“Perseverance: The Story of Dr. Billy Taylor” is a powerful new documentary exploring the life of one of Michigan’s greatest running backs. The show airs Monday night at 9:30 p.m. ET following a re-air of the Michigan-Notre Dame game on BTN/BTN2Go. The film highlights Taylor’s college glories but also explores the setbacks that destroyed his reputation and set him on a 25-year roller coaster ride to recover it. See a preview of it in this post.
Week 5 of the college football season is in the books, and while it wasn’t a jampacked Saturday in the Big Ten, it was certainly an exciting one. Ohio State edged out Wisconsin, 31-24, in a game that certainly lived up to the hype. Iowa found a way to grind out an impressive road win over Minnesota, while Illinois cruised to an easy 50-14 victory over Miami (Ohio). Purdue continues to struggle as the Boilermakers fell 55-24 to Northern Illinois.

Iowa and Illinois also showed they mean business, as each program continues to surprise. Purdue? Well, it’s gonna be a long season in West Lafayette. See what I learned this Saturday.

Iowa was the biggest winner, jumping three spots from No. 9 to No. 6. Conversely, Minnesota fell like a rock from No. 6 to No. 10. Here is my latest Power Poll.
