So, there’s this stat: Wisconsin never had three running backs rush for at least 100 yards in a single game before the 2012 Big Ten title game. Its now done it in two of its last three games, as a trio of Badgers reached the 100-yard mark in their 45-0 season-opening win over UMass. And both times, Melvin Gordon has led the assault. One week down—and my bowl projections already have changed following a 10-2 opening week. Don’t tell me that you’re surprised. The first week of the season was more kind to some than others. I’m looking at you, Nebraska and Purdue. And, yes, that’s Iowa you see moving into my bowl picture—even after a loss, which gave me some faith in this Hawkeyes team.
