So, the postseason hasn’t gotten off to a stellar start for the Big Ten. The league is 0-2, as Minnesota lost to Syracuse in the Texas Bowl and Michigan got drubbed by Kansas State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. But all is not lost. The Big Ten has five bowls left, offering plenty of opportunity for redemption and image rehabilitation.

Iowa crowned three champions en route to running away with their record 23rd Midlands Championships title Monday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Iowa’s Thomas Gilman (125), Derek St. John (157) and Mike Evans (174) each won his first career Midlands crown. So Wisconsin’s Nicole Bauman had a pretty big shot in the Badgers’ game against Green Bay on Monday. With her team trailing 55-52, the sophomore guard tied up the game with a long jumper with just 0.2 seconds left in the second half. The shot forced the game into overtime.
