The Golden Gophers’ 34-23 upset victory over No. 24 Nebraska was a testament to the foundation that Kill has laid since arriving in the Twin Cities in 2011. It also embodied the toughness Kill possesses as a coach and in his fight to control his epilepsy.

Ohio State will wear its Nike “Rivalry” uniform Saturday night for the second time in its last three home games. This time, though, the Buckeyes will rock pink accents to promote breast cancer awareness. In other words, Ohio State will have pink gloves and pink socks. A team that is playing to honor a member of their own, head coach Jerry Kill, who had to step away from the team and the game he loves to deal with personal health issues.
