That finish was unreal. This finish was even better. The last two Iowa games have featured must-see finishes, the first one ending on a Jordan Bohannon 3 vs. Northwestern, and the next one on a Joe Wieskamp ridiculous off-the-side-of-the-glass 3 at Rutgers. By now, Big Ten fans have seen both shots, probably more times than they can count. But not everyone has seen how they went down from the truck. That’s why we did this post and included video of it above. No. 21 Iowa hosts No. 24 Maryland on Tuesday night (9 ET, BTN). Cant help but wonder if
After three straight weeks of a new No. 1, sizzling Purdue remains atop my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. The entire top four remains the same, actually, while surging Iowa moves up one and into the top 5.
Jordan Bohannon is a sharpshooter. And like most great sharpshooters, he's lethal when it matters most. For the second time in as many games Sunday night, the Iowa junior was lights-out in the closing minutes, to lift the Hawkeyes to victory.
For the third time in as many weeks, there's a new No. 1 in my Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. This week, it's white-hot Purdue, winner of seven straight, taking the place of Michigan, now No. 2.
One week, that's how long Michigan's stint at No. 2 lasted in my latest Big Ten Power Rankings, presented by ArcelorMittal. The Wolverines return to No. 1, thanks to wins over Minnesota and Indiana, coupled with Michigan State's loss at Purdue.
With Michigan suffering its first defeat of the season, coupled with Michigan State's win over previously surging Maryland, there's little debate over who's the top team in the Big Ten.
Outside of undefeated Michigan and Michigan State, no team's playing better than Maryland. The Terrapins, behind Big Ten player of the week Bruno Fernando, are on a roll, winners of five in a row.
A couple things we can expect to see every year the day after the national championship game: 1. the final AP top 25 poll, and 2. the way-too-early polls for the following season. This post is all about the way-too-early 2019 polls.
Five Big Ten teams are ranked in the final AP Top 25 Poll, headlined by Big Ten and Rose Bowl game champ Ohio State, at No. 3. Michigan (No. 13), Penn State (No. 17), Northwestern (No. 21) and Iowa (No. 25) also finish ranked.
